An ultra-modern warehouse has been commissioned at Ejura Central Market in the Ashanti Region.

The facility was built to help address post-harvest losses which have been a major challenge for farmers across the country.

The event was graced by the Municipal Chief Executive Alhaji Mohammed Salisu Bamba, deputy Ashanti regional minister, Hon. Elizabeth Agyemang, the WFP country representatives, Ms Rukia Yacoub, the Municipal Coordinating Director Alhaji Mohammed Adam Wunnam Baba Ramadan, the Municipal Director of Agriculture Mr. Obra Nyarko together with and traditional rulers in the area.

The Ejura-Sekyedumase Municipal Chief Executive, Alhaji Mohammed Salisu Bamba in his speech promised to ensure the facility is put to good use for purpose of which it was built and thank the World Food Program (WFP) for this kind gesture.
