An armed robber has been shot dead by a police officer on the Ejura-Dromankuma Road.
The armed robber believed to be Fulani with four others were on a robbery operation robbing passengers of their belongings around 3:50am Sunday.
The Policeman who shot dead the robber was onboard an OA Bus from Accra to Yeji as an escort.
On reaching a section of the road between Ejura and Dromankuma curve, they bumped into four armed men robbing passengers.
In an attempt to rob their bus, the Policeman shot and killed one of the robbers.
The Ejura Police who received information about the incident proceeded to the scene and found a male Fulani aged about 21 with gun wounds on his left knee, thigh and stomach lying dead.
A knife, stick, a bag containing SQ mobile phone, cash of ghc 260 and Arabic inscription on white papers were found on the deceased.
His body was conveyed to the Mampong Government Hospital mortuary.
