The Ashanti Regional Police Command has declared Saddat Mohammed known as Alhaji wanted in connection with the murder of the late Otumfuo Asamponhene, Nana Kwadwo Afodour.

The Police has secured a warrant for the arrest of the 38-year-old suspect.

Saddat Mohamed known in private life as Alhaji who is said to be the prime suspect after the murder news broke on Sunday can’t be traced as police declare a manhunt for his arrest.

ACP Agyemang Agyim, at press briefing on Wednesday August 21, 2019 said the deceased was in the company of the suspect at his residence at Kwadaso on Sunday before the incident occurred.

Oheneba Kwadwo Afodour, Otumfuo Asamponhene, met his untimely death on Sunday 18th August 2019, after he was stabbed multiple times by his assailants and left to die at the back seat of his Toyota Land Cruiser V8 vehicle at Ebuom on the Ejura – Nkoranza highway.
