B/E/R: Bono East regional minister enstooled as “Bunyanwura” at Kamanpa

Bono East Regional Minister and Member of Parliament for Atebubu/Amantin Hon. Kofi Amoakohene has been enstooled as “Bunyanwura Gariba” meaning ” Respectful and Submissive leader” at Kamanpa.

He was enstooled during the Celebration of 2019 Kafojo Kwabena Yam Festival by the chiefs and the people of Kamanpa.

The Gonja Chief of Yeji, Yussif Abubakari Mufungi who spoke on behalf of Kamanpa Chief , Nana Kwame Wande II explained that this is the first time a regional minister has visited their community and for that matter they have to honour him for even accepted their invitation and has fulfilled his promise by joining them to celebrates this year’s festival.

Afterward, Bono East regional minister Hon. Kofi Amoakohene also appreciated the chiefs for honouring him with such a great position in their traditional area.

He appealed to the people at Kamanpa and it’s surrounding environs to support the NPP government.

He also educated them on the importance of the upcoming referendum and therefore called on them to come out in their numbers and vote YES.
