The Director of the Bureau of National Investigations (BNI) Rasheed Seidu Inussah has been relieved of his post.
He’s been replaced by his deputy Dumfeh.
Government sources say Ambassador Inussah has been axed following the wake of recent security lapses and lack of coordination between the police and the BNI.
It is believed that his dismissal is also as a result of the state of insecurity following increasing cases of shootings and kidnappings and armed robberies in communities.
Ambassador Rasheed Seidu Inussah replaced Mr. Akwasi Appiah last year.
