Hon. Bawah Braimah MP for Ejura-Sekyedumase Municipal has donated 16 packets of roofing sheets to the Integrated Community Centres for Employable Skills (ICCES) at Ejura.
According to the MP he’s been committed to the school’s development since its inception as he supported the school at the time he served as the Municipal Chief Executive.
Speaking to Naagyei FM, he disclosed that he donated 60 bags of cement to the school during the initial construction stage of the 4-unit classroom block before the 2016 elections and topped it up with 100 bags of cement and one tonne of Iron rods last year to complete the building.
“On completion of the superstructure, they’ve received support elsewhere to begin the roofing process with the wood already fitted. I promised to donate roofing sheets and I’ve just done that with 16 packets which can roof the entire building so that they can get a decent place to study.”
Hon. Bawah Braimah called on other well-meaning indigenes of Ejura and other philanthropists to support the school, emphasizing that vocational training equips individuals to be self-employed within a short time after completing the training.
