Ejura Sekyedumase: NASPA embarks on clean up exercise

Members of the National Service Personnel Association (NASPA) on Saturday December 1, 2018, put their energies to good use by embarking on a massive cleanup exercise in Ejura Sekyedumase in the Ashanti Region as part of the national sanitation day.

The exercise saw the NASPA personnel joining hands with Zoomlion staff to clean streets and gutters from Ejura barrier through Zongo and ended at Baptist Church which is the principal street of Ejura.

The rationale behind the exercise was to make Ejura clean and also educate food sellers on the need to uphold good hygienic condition in their daily operations to prevent an outbreak of sicknesses as a result of buying contaminated food.

Ejura NASPA President, Musah Mustapha expressed appreciation to his colleagues for making the cleaning exercise a success and encouraged them not to relent in helping to make the environment clean at all times.

Municipal Zoomlion Coordinator, Adams Mustapha commended the members of NASPA for taking time off their busy schedule to help ensure a clean environment and was hopeful that they’ll turn up in their numbers during the next national sanitation day.

Mr Osei Owusu Williams aka Orga Wuli who spoke on behalf of the National Service Scheme Municipal Coordinator thanked the personnel for making Ejura township which until the cleanup was engulf with filth now very clean.
