Former NDC Chairman Kwabena Adjei dead

Former National Chairman of the opposition NDC Dr. Kwabena Adjei has died.

He died Tuesday morning at the Greater Accra Regional Hospital, formerly Ridge hospital, a highly placed source revealed.

Dr. Kwabena Adjei who led the opposition NDC party as chairman to win power in 2008 had been battling with a protracted sickness.

He died three days after marking his 76th birthday on March 9, 2019.

Nick named ‘Wayoo! Wayo’ Dr Kwabena Adjei a native of Nkonya Ntsumuru in the Volta Region who was born on 9th March 1943, lectured in Universities in Ghana and Nigeria in the 1970s to 80s before he entered mainstream politics.

He holds a PhD (Research Methods & Statistics in Psychology): from the University
of Strathclyde, Glasgow, Scotland, U.K.
