Four Traditional councils within Sene East and West districts have expressed their disappointment in president Akufo-Addo for failing to visit their traditional areas during his recent duty tour of Bono East region.
The paramount chief of Bassa Traditional council, Nana Owusu Sakyi III who addressed the media on behalf of the other paramouncies, said their respective areas were among those who petitioned President Akufo Addo to create Bono East region and so were shocked as to why the President refused to visit them.
According to him, the four paramouncies including Basa traditional council, Dwan Traditional council, Wiase traditional council and Nkomi all in Sene East and West districts of Bono east region regret the action of the presidency.
They, therefore, demand an answer from the presidency as to whether the four traditional areas are not part of the Bono East region.
The acting President for Nkomi Traditional Council Nana Akwasi Nokwarebour on his part stated that they are disappointed in Bono East regional minister Hon. Kofi Amoakohene for not leading the president to their four traditional areas.
He, therefore, urged the Regional Minister to explain to them why the president failed to visit them.
