Ghana’s COVID-19 death toll now 139, caseload hits 24,518

Four more persons have died of COVID-19, shooting Ghana’s death toll to 139, according to Ghana Health Service’s latest update on Sunday.

A total of 270 new cases have been recorded moving the total case count to 24, 518.

Meanwhile, recoveries have increased to 20, 187 with the active cases standing at 4,192. The figures also show that 25 persons are in severe condition with eight being critical. Four are on ventilators.
