Naagyei 90.3 Fm Agyapa
Thirteen people have died in a gory accident at Konongo on the Accra-Kumasi Highway in the Ashanti region.
The accident is said to have occurred Sunday evening, around 10 pm between an Accra-Kumasi bound bus and a Cargo Truck at Konongo.
The deceased persons are made up of 4 females and 9 males.
Reports say one of the buses attempted to overtake another vehicle which resulted in a head-on collision with a bus from the opposite direction.
The injured people have been rushed to the Konongo Government hospital where they are receiving treatment. The bodies of the dead have been deposited at the mortuary for autopsy.
