Krachi East MCE found dead in hotel at Kumasi

Municipal Chief Executive for Krachi East municipality in the Oti Region, Francis Okesu has been found dead in a hotel room in the Ashanti regional capital, Kumasi.

The MCE who’s also the Dean of Oti regional MMDCEs checked into the hotel Friday night.

However, he did not step out the whole of Saturday nor requested anything from the hotel much to the surprise of the hotel staff.

Information gathered indicates that the management of the hotel was curious and wanted to find out what may be happening to him.

After knocking on his door for some time, they were forced to open the door and found him dead.

A report was made at the Oforikrom District police command following which police conveyed the lifeless body to the morgue.
