NDC outdoors new vigilante group, “Eastern Mambas”

Ahead of the upcoming crucial general elections in 2020, the largest opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) has introduced another vigilante group based in the Eastern Region known as “Eastern Mambas”.

The group’s main objection is to boost the party’s security during the elections which promises to be keenly contested.

Information suggests that Hackman Kabore – NDC Eastern Regional Organizer is in charge of the group and was outdoored to provide security to the former president, John Dramani Mahama, who’s touring the region to meet delegates ahead of the Presidential primaries.

The ‘Eastern Mambas’ add up to other existing vigilante groups in the NDC including Azorka Boys and the Hawks.

The two leading political parties, the ruling NPP and NDC have defied calls for them to disband their respective vigilante groups.
