NDC race: Mahama submits nomination forms Monday

Former President John Dramani Mahama will on Monday submit his Presidential nomination forms at the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) in his bid to lead the party into the 2020 election.

The Ex President will be returning his forms with the GHC300,000 filing fee being charged aspirants.

Mr Mahama will subsequently  proceed to Pavillion A of the Trade Fair Centre at 1:30pm to address the media.

The National Democratic Congress, NDC, has set January 19, 2019, for its Presidential primaries.

Former President John Dramani Mahama will face off stiff competition from the likes of  the Second Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Alban Sumana Bagbin, former Vice Chancellor of the University of Professional Studies, Accra, Prof. Joshua Alabi; a former Minister of Trade and Industry, Ekwow Spio-Garbrah; a former Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the National Health Insurance Authority, Sylvester Mensah, Nurudeen Iddrisu; Stephen Atubiga and Goosie Tanoh, that is if the rest are able to also pay the filing fee which most of them described as exorbitant.
