NDC Race: Mahama takes early lead with 608 out of 641 votes at Bodi

Former President John Dramani Mahama who is now among the Presidental aspirants of the minority National Democratic Congress(N.D.C), has been declared the winner of the ongoing flagbearer elections of the NDC at Bodi constituency in the Western North Region.

Mr Mahama polled an overwhelming 608 votes as against Prof Joshua Alabi who only managed to poll 9 votes to come second out of a total vote of 641.

Mr Goosie Tandoh polled seven (7), followed by longest-serving parliamentarian in Ghana, Alban Bagbin with 5 votes.

Deputy Constituency Communications Officer for Bodi, Atta Mensah told Empire News’ Emmanuel Ohene-Gyan that Mr Spio Gabrah also polled 4 votes while Sylvester Mensah and Nurideen Mohammed polled 3 votes each.
