Three out of the 12 suspects who were declared wanted in connection with the murder at the NDC’s party office in Kumasi in the Ashanti region are being held by the police after they reportedly turned themselves in.
Ashanti regional Police spokesperson, ASP Godwin Ahianyo confirmed the development to newsmen on Friday, March 1.
The suspects have been identified as; Dauda Ibrahim alias Wayo, Abdul Ganiu alias and Samuel Agyin alias Rock.
It is not clear whether the suspects have been charged but police sources say the suspects have been cautioned.
Meanwhile, Lawyer for the suspects, Evans Amankwah says he is working to get bail for his clients.
The 12 were declared wanted after one person was confirmed dead following a shooting incident at the NDC party office at Amakom in the Ashanti region.
The shooting incident occurred during a meeting between the National Chairman, General Secretary, a Deputy General Secretary and the Regional Executive Committee.
