NDC’s Sammy Gyamfi arrested

The National Communications Officer of opposition National Democratic Congress(CID) Sammy Gyamfi has been picked up by personnel of the CID minutes after a live discussion on Accra based television station, UTV.

He was reportedly whisked away by some mufti-wearing security officers in a white unmarked pick-up vehicle with license plate VR 4870 – 12.

The young politician has been taken to the CID Headquarters in Accra.

Sammy Gyamfi was reportedly making his way to board his car after the show when the CID officers suddenly approached him, produced a warrant and picked him away.

It is unclear why he’s been arrested.
