A 30-year-old nursing mother who was allegedly hit by a stray bullet has been confirmed dead.
The deceased, Felicia Danquah, was reportedly hit by a stray bullet when a soldier attacked residents who were observing the burial of a colleague who died after falling into an illegal mining pit, some months ago, Naagyei Fm gathered.
The incident happened at Manso Datano in the Amansie South District of the Ashanti Region on November 19.
The deceased died at the Okomfo Anokye Teaching hospital on Sunday, November after she sustained an injury to her stomach.
The youth in the community are calling for justice and also demanding the withdrawal of the military deployment to the area.
Meanwhile, the police are yet to issue an official statement on the incident.
