President Akufo-Addo is holding a weekend retreat with his Ministers ahead of the 2020 Budget.
The retreat currently ongoing at the Peduase Lodge is to help the Akufo-Addo administration devise strategies to achieve government’s priorities and goals set in the budget.
About 600 million dollars will be invested in the cocoa sector to stimulate cocoa production.
Information Minister, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah is billed to address the media in a short while about the key deliberations at the retreat.
The 2020 Budget and Economic Policy of the Government shall be presented on the floor of Parliament on November 14, 2019 barring any unforeseeable glitch.
The budget shall be read to Ghanaians by the Minister of Finance, Ken Ofori-Atta on behalf of the President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
