Pru West: Chief Linguist shot dead by Armed robbers

The linguist of the Omanhene of Abease Traditional council in the Pru West District in the Bono East Region has been murdered by Armed robbers.

The deceased Mr Kofi Yeboah who’s also a teacher at Abease Presby J.H.S was killed on his way back to Abease Prang Komfour krom after undertaking an errand the traditional council.

Mr Yeboah who was a father of three and his wife pregnant was shot in his ribs killing him instantly.

According to the eyewitness, he was on a motorcycle with his female friend from Komfour krom road heading to Prang where they stumbled upon the robbers who threatened their lives but after pleading, he was asked to move on and leave his motorbike behind.

“I saw someone lying by the roadside dead but I couldn’t identify the face because I was afraid. I reported to a police patrol team which rushed to the scene but before they arrived the robbers had fled leaving the body behind.”
