The Municipal Chief Executive of Ejura-Sekyedumase in the Ashanti Region, Salisu Bamba has called on Christians not to forget to have President Akufo Addo and Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia in their prayers even as they make merry during the festive occasion of Christmas.
In a Season Greetings statement, Hon. Bamba said “Christmas marks the birth of Christ and also indicates the sacrifices he made for mankind. It is imperative upon us ,people in faith to hold his teachings and Christian Principles in high esteem. These principles must be our guiding tools in both private and Public lives.”
It added “We join our brothers and sisters in celebrating this significant occasion, what is required of us is that, we remember H. E Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo and Dr Mahamudu Bawumia and the Npp in our prayers.”
Hon. Bamba noted that the ruling NPP government has so far rolled out Social intervention Policies to give relief to the lives of Ghanaians, notably, Free SHS, NABCO, Youth in Afforestation, Youth in Community Protection and Youth in Sports, and Planting for Food and Jobs among others.
“We could not achieve these significant milestones without the steadfast belief in NPP which gives us the wings to fly Ghana thus afar.” the statement noted.
The statement finally urged Ghanaians, to celebrate the festive occasion in moderation as Ghana needs everyone and finally wished everyone Merry Christmas and a happy new year in advance.
