The Police Service has announced the retrieval of the fourth set of human remains in a well at Nkroful new site in Takoradi in the Western region.
The discovery comes five days after some bodies were recovered near the former abode of the key suspect in the case involving the three missing Takoradi girls.
“Police investigators today Aug 6, 2019 discovered the fourth set of human remains in a well at Nkroful new site at Takoradi.
“The remains were discovered at an uncompleted building where Samuel Willis Udutoek was re-arrested in connection with missing persons and later convicted for unlawful escape.
“Investigations are underway to establish the identity of the remains while Police continue with all angles of the ongoing investigation,” the police said in a statement on Facebook Tuesday.
Meanwhile, the families of the three kidnapped girls on Monday said they have lost confidence in the Ghana Police Service.
