The country representative for UN Youth Ghana, Dr. Isaac V. Ankomah has cautioned the youth of this country to avoid politicians who would attempt to use them to cause mayhem ahead of the 7th December general election.

He called on the youth to channel their energies into productive venture and shun any acts of political vigilantism in the lead up to this year’s presidential and parliamentary election to advance the country’s democratic credentials.

He made this assertion during a press briefing on this year’s international youth day which is to celebrate young people’s voice,actions and initiatives as well as meaningful.

Dr. Ankomah added that his outfit(UN Youth Ghana) is willing to support every Ghanaian youth,across the continent and the globe and also would not renege on its responsibility to build the human capacity index of every Ghanaian youth.

He seized the opportunity to call on all stakeholders, the ministry of youth and sports, the National Youth Authority, the Youth Employment Agency and the Diaspora to join forces with the UN youth Ghana to help and support them actualize the dream and vision.
