6 more die as Ghana records 679 new Covid-19 cases

Six more people in the country have died from the novel coronavirus, the Ghana Health Service (GHS) has reported.

Also, 679 persons have been infected with the virus bringing the country’s total confirmed cases to 60,794.

The new deaths bring the death toll to 367 and 3,286 active cases.

However, a total of 57,141 recoveries/discharges have been recorded.

The Ghana Health Service has scheduled a press conference on Monday to discuss issues in relation to the surge of Covid-19 cases.
