Michael Essien, a former Ghanaian midfielder, has reached another noteworthy milestone in his post-playing career by earning a UEFA qualification in football management.
Famous for his stints at Chelsea and Real Madrid, the former player has been working towards coaching certifications and can now add this football management license to his amazing list of accomplishments.

The rigorous curriculum, which comprised three in-person sessions and online modules, took Essien several months to finish.

He shared his joy on social media on Friday, November 1, about accomplishing this significant objective.
