As hundreds of thousands of supporters gathered for a walk in December ahead of the 2024 election, Alan Kyerematen’s Movement for Change brought Accra to life in a stunning display of power and determination.
People from all walks of life attended the celebration, and the young people led a lively wave of solidarity and excitement. The march’s size dwarfed even the enormous Kumasi walk, highlighting Alan’s Yellow army’s inexorable momentum as they seized control of Ghana’s vibrant city.
As soon as the sun came up, a seemingly never-ending stream of people filled the streets, turning Accra into a sea of vivid yellow. Chants, music, and the sound of drumming filled the city as people of all ages, including families, students, and young people, gathered for what can only be called a political celebration. As marchers filled with optimism for a new Ghana captivated the city at every turn, banners with Alan’s face and the message “Ase3 Ho” fluttered high over the crowd.
At the centre of it all was Alan Kyerematen, who led the parade with his vivacious running mate, KOD, and other senior Afrafranto Alliance partners. He greeted his supporters who encouraged him heartily.
Alan showed his dedication to putting the youth at the forefront of his ambitions for Ghana by walking side by side with those who have accepted his vision. Many people have been captivated by his Great Transformational Plan (GTP), especially young people, who perceive him as a leader who truly puts their needs and aspirations first. Many people are greatly impressed by Alan’s vision, as evidenced by the young fan who said, “Alan is the leader we need!” as he collapsed at his feet.
Bystanders who lined the streets to see Alan’s Yellow Army travel from neighbourhoods to main thoroughfares were astounded by the walk’s scope, which instilled a sense of transformation and solidarity throughout Accra.
Some joined on their own initiative, attracted by the march’s electrifying energy and hopeful attitude. As the gathering walked by, an elderly woman cried from her balcony, holding a white handkerchief, “This is a new beginning for Ghana.” Her words raised spirits and stoked anticipation about what Alan’s leadership could bring to the nation.
Alan’s Movement for Change has raised the bar with this historic event, not only for political campaigns but also for how people see their country’s future.
Following the large-scale Kumasi march, the turnout in Accra indicates a wave of support for Alan and his inclusive change message.
The growing numbers and fervour of the Yellow Army as Election Day draws near demonstrate that Alan Kyerematen is more than just a candidate; he is the centre of a national movement for action, hope, and rebirth.
