The number of active COVID-19 cases in Ghana has reduced by more than half in the past few days, the Ghana Health Service (GHS) has announced.
The number of active cases as of November 22, stood at 775. The total number of confirmed cases, however, stands at 51,225 with 323 deaths.
A total of 50,127 have been discharged or recovered from the virus, according to the Director-General of the Ghana Health Service, Dr Patrick Kuma-Aboagye.
According to him, since the reopening of the Kotoka International Airport in September, 69,311 tests had been conducted, out of which 264 of them reported positive for COVID-19.
