President Akufo-Addo is expected to address the nation tonight on measures taken against the spread of covid-19 in the country.
This would be his 19th time addressing the nation since the pandemic broke out in March this year.
Ghana’s Coronavirus (COVID-19) death toll has slightly increased to 331, according to the latest Ghana Health Service update.
The active cases stand at 991 after 100 cases were confirmed from the labs. This sums up the case count to 53,653.
Out of the number, 52,331 have recovered or been discharged, according to the GHS. The number of cases confirmed from international travelers at the Kotoka International Airport (KIA) since the airport was first opened in September are 461 out of which 302 have been discharged.
Two patients are currently in critical condition while 13 have been classified as severe. No one is currently on a ventilator.
