President Akufo-Addo is billed to deliver the State of the Nation Address to parliament on Tuesday, March 8, 2021.
The Speaker of Parliament last week announced to MPs in the chamber that: “The House will be privileged to receive the President who is obligated to deliver the State of the Nation Address. His Excellency has given an indication to me that he is ready to do the obligation on Tuesday 9th March 2021.”
This will be the first State of the Nation Address to be delivered by the President in his second term of office.
The State of the Nation is an annual address to Parliament given by the President of the republic of Ghana covering economic, social, and financial state of the country according to Article 67 of the 1992 constitution of Ghana.
