Bawumia discusses security with UK security officials

Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia on Monday, 15 August received at the Jubilee House a delegation of some UK security officials led by the British High Commissioner to Ghana, Harriet Thompson.

The Vice President and the security team discussed several issues including the Accra Initiative which is a cooperative and collaborative security mechanism anchored on the pillars of information and intelligence.

On the table for discussion was also Ghana-UK security partnership in view of the threats of terrorism in the West Africa sub-region.
