The Church of Pentecost on Tuesday handed over the state-of-the-art Ejura Camp Prison in the Ashanti Region to the Ghana Prison Service through the Ministry of Interior.
The GHC3million edifice has correctional centres where inmates would be transformed with the gospel message of Jesus Christ, equipped with skills training and reformed in order to be reintegrated into society as responsible citizens after serving their prison terms.
It is fully furnished three dormitory blocks with the capacity to accommodate 300 inmates also comprise an administration block, chapel which will also serve as a classroom, football pitch, baptistry, modern washrooms, mechanized borehole, offices, infirmary, workshops.
