The Member of Parliament for Ejura-Sekyedumase, Bawa Braimah, has donated ten(10) computers to three schools namely, Model primary school – 6, R/C JHS – 2, and St. Peter’s Anglican primary school at Kasie.
The items are worth GHC35,000.
According to him, his generous act is a testimony to his commitment to education which is the foundation of development.
Hon. Bawa Braimah noted that in the era of Information Communication Technology, students of Ejura-Sekyedumase cannot be left out hence he’ll do everything possible for them to catch up with the world.
“Over the years I’ve realized that the students in this area don’t perform well in ICT both in the BECE and WASSCE examinations. I’m confident that with the provision of these computers for the students’ practical use, we’ll begin recording better results in future examinations. I made a pledge to these schools so it was important that I honoured my promise,” He told Kwabena Adjei Adomarakwa Naagyei FM News Caster.
Hon. Bawa Braimah added that he’ll make sure others schools within the Municipality are also equipped with computers.
