FIFA World Cup: Ghana to know group opponents today

Ghana’s Black Stars will today know the country they will play against in the group stage at the November 2022 FIFA World Cup tournament in Qatar.

Ghana triumphed over Nigeria in two-legged playoff matches in Kumasi and Abuja on March 25 and 29 respectively.

Ghana drew a goalless draw in the Kumasi match and a subsequent 1-1 draw in Nigeria. However, Ghana qualified for the World Cup based on the away-goal rule.

Ghana are in pot 4 and will know their group opponents today after this evening’s draw in Doha, Qatar.
