Daniel Asiedu, the self-confessed killer of the late Member of Parliament for Abuakwa North Joseph Boakye Dankwa Adu has urged the Criminal Division of the Accra High Court to find him a competent lawyer.
The accused person who together with Vincent Bosso are making their second appearance at the High Court since the committal on Feb 14, said he is more comfortable with an ICC lawyer because “money can do anything in Ghana.”
The court presided over by Justice Henry Anthony Kwofie adjourned the matter to April 1 for their plea to be taken.
Daniel Asiedu was arrested after he reportedly stabbed the late MP in his East Legon home while sleeping on the dawn of Tuesday, February 9, 2016.
