Ghanaians are tired of NDC Propaganda – Akufo-Addo

President Akufo-Addo says the people of Ghana are tired of the characteristic propagandist claims of the opposition NDC as he invites the voting population of the country to reject the party by voting massively for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the 7th of December 2020 polls.

The President made the statement at Odumase in the Lower Manya Krobo Constituency when he addressed a teeming crowd of Lower Manya Krobo Constituents as part of the last day of his two-day campaign tour of the Eastern Region.

According to the President, in spite of the NDC’s propaganda that NPP does not like Krobo people, his administration has embarked on massive projects and initiatives in the Upper Manya Krobo, Lower Manya Krobo and Yilo Krobo Constituencies since assuming office on 7th January 2017.

“They say I am an Akyem man and Akyem people don’t like Krobo people so if I come to power, I will harass Krobo people. Has any Krobo person been harassed during my period in office? It is all negative propaganda. We are tired of the negative propaganda in the politics of Ghana” President Akufo-Addo stated.

NDC Claims of Trust

Commenting on recent claims by elements in the NDC that their Presidential candidate, is a man that Ghanaians can trust, President Akufo-Addo said “Political leaders who created an economic mess with the worse statistics of modern times are telling us today that they are leaders that we can trust”.

“Trust to do what, President Akufo-Addo asked. To take our economy back to dumsor, to take our economy back to recession, to take our economy back into high inflation, is that what we need, is that the leadership of the country that we need, President Akufo-Addo further quizzed.

“We are looking for a different leadership, we are looking for leadership that is going to bring progress and prosperity to our country and not backwardness and false claims” President Akufo-Addo added.

Former G.S NPP

As part of speakers at the Odumase rally, former General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kwabena Adjei Agyepong, observed that the NPP are better managers of the Ghanaian economy and the records of the two parties, NPP and the NDC, speaks for itself. To this end, he urged the people of the Lower Manya Krobo Constituency to vote for President Akufo-Addo and for the Party’s Parliamentary candidate Samuel Nuertey Ayertey.

“If we talk about a government that has managed the finances of the country effectively, i believe it is the government of the NPP. The NPP is the party that has a track record of managing the Ghanaian economy properly” Kwabena Adjei Agyepong said. “NPP are better managers of our economy than the NDC. Therefore on the day of voting which is in two weeks, i urge you all in Lower Manya Krobo Constituency to step out and vote massively for the President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo” former NPP Chief Scribe added.

President’s Campaign Tour

President Akufo-Addo is expected to end his campaign tour of the Eastern Region with a mammoth rally at Koforidua in the New Juaben South Constituency today the 23rd of November 2020. The President as part of last day of his tour of the Eastern Region made whistle stops at Aburi in the Akuapem South Constituency, and Akosombo in the Asuogyaman Constituency. Subsequently, he will begin a two-day campaign tour of the Greater Accra Region from the 24th to the 25th of November 2020.
