Ghana’s Covid-19 active cases now stand at 3,617 after some 30,621 patients recovered and discharged, health officials say.
In its Wednesday, July 29, 2020 update, the Ghana Health Service (GHS) said the death toll still stands at 168 after 782 new cases were recorded.
“A total of 782 new cases were reported on July 26, 2020. These are samples that were taken from the period 23 June to 25 July 2020… but reported from the lab on July 26,” the GHS said.
The total confirmed coronavirus cases in the West African country are 34, 406.
Presently, eight people are in critical condition with 25 others being classified as severe while four persons remain on ventilators.
