Kidnapping case: CID confirms retrieval of human parts in suspect’s home

The Criminal Investigations Department (CID) of the Police Service has confirmed the retrieval of human parts from a septic tank at an uncompleted building previously occupied by Samuel Udotek Wills, the main suspect in the Kidnapping of the three Takoradi girls.

The remains were found after a special police operation which took place at Kasawrodo at about 7pm Friday.

A statement signed by the PRO of the CID, DSP Juliana Obeng, said: “the discovered human parts would be sent to the Forensic Science Laboratory of the Ghana Police Service for analysis and further investigation.”

Sources say the team of police personnel undertook the operation after a tip-off in the community.

The whereabouts of the three missing Takoradi girls – Ruthlove Quayson, Priscilla Blessing Bentum, and Priscilla Koranchie – who were kidnapped between August and December 2018 have been a mystery several months after the issue gained national prominence.
