The Konongo Odumasi District Court in the Ashanti region has discharged the four juveniles standing trial for the alleged murder of a first-year student of Konongo Odumasi Senior High school.
The prime suspect has however been remanded.
The four juveniles although discharged will, however, now serve as witnesses in the murder case.
The Court presided over by Her Worship, Joyce Bamfo, also directed the Ghana Education Service to re-integrate the four juveniles into the school system.
Headteacher of the Konongo-Odumase SHS, Dr. Kwaku Baah disclosed the students for their personal safety will be relocated to different schools.
On November 5th, 2021, five students of Konongo Odumasi Senior high school were arrested by the police for the alleged stabbing to death of a student, Larhan Sam’un while they were being bullied.
