President Akufo-Addo has paid tribute to the legendary highlife musician, Nana Ampadu appreciating him for believing in his vision for Ghana.
He claimed the late highlife artist assisted him while on the campaign trail in the run-up to the 2016 elections, which gave him his victory.
In his tribute, the President said: “His was a life well-lived, and he will be sorely missed.”
The Highlife legend, Nana Kwame Ampadu died on Tuesday, September 28.
The 76-year-old, according to sources, passed on at the Legon Hospital after he fell sick overnight. He was rushed to the emergency ward on Tuesday morning and died shortly.
