MCE presents goods and logistics to physically challenged persons

The Municipal chief executive for Ejura-Sekyedumase Municipal assembly, Hon. Mohammed Salisu Bamba, today presented some packages, goods and logistics to disable and physically challenged persons within the municipality at the forecourt of the Ejura-Sekyedumase Municipal Assembly.

In his speech, the Municipal Chief Executive noted that before then, persons living with disabilities were given ample amount of money to cater for themselves and families. But as time went on, a decision was taken to present PWD’s with logistics so as to harness their works to make a living.

He advised the PWD’s to take very good care of the presents they receive, avoiding mismanagement, misuse and as well as extravagance so they can make a daily living with it.

According to Him, all these positive initiatives are in existence due to the good governance of the Nana Addo lead government and urged them to vote to retain the current government come December 7 so as to get more packages in the coming years.

Persons with disabilities who benefitted from items such as refrigerators, fufu pounding machines, bags of rice, cooking oil and many more items in packages, rendered an uncommon appreciation to the government and the municipal chief executive, Hon. Mohammed Salisu Bamba for channeling the items to their benefits, with a promise to take good care of the items as advised by the municipal chief executive.
