The Chief Executive Officer of the Middle Belt Authority, Hon. Joe Dankwa has embarked on an inspection tour and commissioning of some projects in the Bono East Region.

Some of the projects commissioned include 12 ten-seater water closet toilets built at a cost of GHC171,000 each. A total of 6 three-unit classroom blocks each costing GHC237,000 have also been completed and handed over.

The health sector was not left behind as 1 CHPS Compound at a cost of GHC171,000 has also been completed and handed over. One mini-market, built at a cost of GHC304,000 has also been handed over.

Hon. Hon. Joe Dankwa in an interview with Naagyei FM, stated that he decided to visit the field to verify the reports submitted to his office by the various contractors who have executed projects or are still executing projects, adding that he’s impressed with work done so far.

He appealed to the beneficiary communities especially the traditional authorities, MDCEs to ensure that the facilities are well taken care of and also ensure good maintenance culture because the government has sunk huge sums of money into the projects.

Hon. Joe Dankwa stated that the Middle Belt Authority will ensure that only contractors who have fully executed their contracts are paid in full.
