Minority endorses Asiedu Nketia as National Chairman

The Minority in Parliament has endorsed Johnson Aseidu Nketia to become the next National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) after serving as General Secretary for almost two decades.

Mr Asiedu Nketia is vying for the position against the incumbent Chairman, Samuel Ofosu Ampofo who is seeking to be retained for a second term.

However, Deputy Minority Chief Whip, Ahmed Banda at a ceremony to officially launch the campaign of Johnson Aseidu Nketia to become National Chairman of the NDC said, Asdidu Nketia has demonstrated beyond expectations he is committed to the party and its values.

The legislator affirmed that General Mosquito, as he is affectionately called has been instrumental in the Minority’s performance in Parliament for a better Ghana.
