Pay us Our Money Else You Will Lose December 7, Election CASLOC To Govt

The Coalition of Affected Savings and Loans Customers (CASLOC) has expressed displeasure over the government’s delay in paying their locked up funds which were deposited at microfinance companies and credit institutions whose licenses were revoked by the bank of Ghana.

According to them, out of over 4.6 million people who were affected, the government has paid 1.7 million people which represents only 13% of our population but not the 96% or 98% that they are claiming.

Addressing the press, the secretary of CASLOC, Mr. Ezekiel Annor Akagbo, said, they are not happy with how the government is paying their money slowly and that clean up exercise of banks has caused hardships for to so many people in the country.

He added that just as the DKM issue which involved less than 100,000 caused defeat for then ruling National Democratic Congress(NDC) government, the ruling NPP could easily be voted out of power come December 7 election if the concerns of over 4.6 customers are not addressed.
