Sam Pyne confirmed as KMA Chief Executive

The Assembly members of the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly (KMA) have confirmed President Nana Akufo Addo’s nomination of Sam Pyne as Metropolitan Chief Executive of the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly.

At an election held at Prempeh Assembly Hall on Tuesday, the nominee secured 55 YES votes, while 3 others voted NO out of a total of 60 persons expected to have voted.

Meanwhile, the President’s nominee for the Asokore-Mampong Municipal assembly Kennedy Kwabena Kankam has also been confirmed by the Assembly members for the various electoral areas in Asokore Mampong municipal.
