When a vanished UEW lecturer is discovered buried in his house, one gets arrested.

After going missing for weeks, the remains of Prof. Amedeke, a lecturer at the University of Education, Winneba (UEW), have been recovered in appalling conditions.
A few weeks ago, the family was unable to locate the university professor, which led to formal complaints at the police stations.

The law enforcement agency feared that he may have been killed and buried at his home in Gyahadze, a neighbourhood of Winneba in the Central Region, following weeks of arduous investigations.
The remains were found when the police obtained an exhumation warrant to conduct their subsequent phase of inquiry.
The body was identified by forensic specialists and transported to a hospital for autopsy and additional investigation.

Although the cause of death is unknown, one suspect who was helping the police has been arrested as a result of the investigation.

As authorities diligently try to piece together the case and bring the criminals to justice, this has created fear and panic in the community.
