Xavier Sosu, Kasser-Tee, and Aziz Bamba are nominated by A-G to the General Legal Council.

Three people have been nominated to serve on the General Legal Council by Dr. Dominic Ayine, the Attorney General and Minister of Justice.
In compliance with Paragraph 2(1)(d) of the First Schedule to the Act and Section 1(2) of the Legal Profession Act, 1960, the nominations were made.

The Ministry of Justice and the Attorney General’s office released a statement that included this information.

Clara Beeri Kasser-Tee, a lecturer at the University of Ghana School of Law, Francis Xavier Sosu, Member of Parliament for Madina, and Dr. Abdul-Bassit Aziz Bamba, a senior lecturer at the University of Ghana, were all chosen, according to the announcement.

These people have been selected to offer their knowledge to the Council, which is essential in regulating professional conduct and legal education in the nation.

The statement also said that the nominations had been properly communicated to President John Mahama.

Additionally, it guaranteed that the Attorney General would give this process first priority to Chief Justice Gertrude Torkornoo.
