You’ll be evil than Satan if you vote against anti LGBTQ+Bill – Bono, Bono East and Ahafo Chief Fetish Priest to MPs

The Chief Fetish Priest of Bono, Bono East, and Ahafo Region, Nana Ankamako Adjei has charged Parliamentarians not to vote against the anti- LGBTQ+ bill currently before parliament.

According to him, should they vote against the bill, they will be evil than the devil as LGBTQ+ is an evil practice that should not be entertained in Ghana.

Addressing a press conference today, Nana Ankamako Adjei warned that the country will suffer huge repercussions if LGBTQ+ activities is not legislated against.

He said LGBTQ+ activities frown upon the culture and morality of the Ghanaian people and all the major religions in Ghana abhor the practice hence it should not be legalized.

Nana Ankamako Adjei who is also Nkoranza Bredi Komfoo said Parliamentarians will be doing the Ghanaian society a lot of harm and disservice if they should fail to pass the anti-LGBTQ+ bill.

“I’ll be very sad if Members of Parliament who have been selected by Ghanaians as their representatives disgrace us by not voting for the anti-LGBTQ+ bill. If they vote against this important bill, then we’ll know that they are more evil than the devil. If another country has legalized LGBTQ+ activities, we should not copy blindly, we have our culture, values and morals to protect. We should come together as one people and resist LGBTQ+ activities in Ghana”

Eight members of Ghana’s Parliament have jointly submitted a private bill to push for the criminalization of LGBTQI+ activities in the country.

The Members of Parliament that joined in presenting the bill include, Sam George, [MP, Ningo-Prampram], Emmanuel Bedzrah (MP, Ho West) Della Adjoa Sowah (MP, Kpando), John Ntim Fordjour (MP, Assin South), Alhassan Sayibu Suhuyini (MP, Tamale North), Helen Adjoa Ntoso (MP, Krachi West), Rita Naa Odoley Sowah (MP, La Dadekotopon) and Rockson Nelson Dafeamekpor (MP, South Dayi).
