NDC Promises to Revive Abandoned Cocoa Roads

Professor Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, the Vice Presidential candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has assured cocoa farmers that the next NDC administration will complete all abandoned cocoa road projects.
Addressing supporters at a rally in Datano, Bodi Constituency, as part of her three-day campaign tour of the Western North Region, Prof. Opoku-Agyemang expressed concern over the government’s abandonment of cocoa roads.
She criticized the government for failing to make public its report on cocoa road projects, despite accusing the previous Mahama administration of mismanagement.
“The next NDC administration will not abandon these projects. We will complete them to improve accessibility and boost the cocoa industry,” Prof. Opoku-Agyemang promised.
Additionally, she pledged to revive the free fertilizer program and ensure cocoa farmers receive the right producer price.
Prof. Opoku-Agyemang urged electorates to vote massively for John Dramani Mahama and NDC parliamentary candidates in the December general elections.
