President Nana Akufo-Addo has extended the leave of absence from office for the Minister for Gender, Children, and Social Protection, Sarah Adwoa Safo, which was to have ended on 31st August, 2021.
The Minister who’s also the Member of Parliament for Dome-Kwabenya sought leave of absence for personal reasons.
A statement signed by the Director of Communications at the Presidency, Eugene Arhin, said “in her absence, and until further notice, President Akufo-Addo has directed the Minister for Sanitation and Water Resources, Cecilia Abena Dapaah, to act as caretaker Minister for the Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection.
