The Amantin and Kasei community bank Limited on Saturday, September 18, held its 15th and 16th Annual general meetings at it’s headoffice at Amantin in the Bono East Region.
The 15th Annual general meeting which was supposed to be held last year could not come off due to the COVID- 19 pandemic, hence management decided to hold both the 15th and 16th Annual general meetings together.
The Director of the Bank Dr. Oduro Boateng who also chaired the program said though COVID- 19 is still in the system, the bank has not been affected due to prudent measures introduced and even aided others in different areas.
He pleaded with the government to reduce the taxes imposed on rural banks.
Mrs. Comfort Owusu, The C.E.O of Rural Banks Association who was present at the meeting also advised all customers who take loans from rural banks to pay back on time to help sustain the banks.
